POSITION: REGISTERED NURSE
Primary Site: St. Marys
Inpatient Unit
Regular Part-Time x2
 
REPORTS TO: Manager, Inpatient Unit & Emergency Department - St. Marys
 
DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible
 
SALARY: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario 
 
EXPERIENCE:
- BLS certification
- Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia’s Course preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hire
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in medical/surgical/ CCC nursing preferred
- Recent related courses, in-services in medical/ surgical/ CCC nursing 
- ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hire
 
ABILITIES:
- Specialized nursing skills in the area of medical/chronic nursing
- Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications
 
**Applicants may be eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and Tuition Support Program for Nurses programs**
 
**Successful applicants who have not yet been employed as a nurse within Ontario will be eligible to receive a commitment bonus of $25,000 in exchange for a 2-year full-time commitment of service**
